Implementing the GDPR - Professional Data Protection
With the “Policy Application” in EGroupware you define rules for your individual address books. Which fields are to be filled in? Who in the company is allowed to access them? Who is allowed to see the private telephone numbers of the contacts?
Practical: The rules can be printed and stored directly in the directory of processing activities (directory of procedures).
The “Policy Application” is a chargeable feature and is only available in the EGroupware EPL (Enterprise Line).
Share Contacts with other Address Books
You can also display contacts in another address book via a share (read or write). Certain data can be excluded by policy (or set as a mandatory field), e.g. birthday or personal data of a contact.
Address Book Permissions
Agile rights management allows you to decide centrally who may access which data. Your addresses are also available for form letters or synchronisation with smartphones.
