Prof. Dr. Matthias Rädle

Vice Head CeMOS

CeMOS is an application-oriented, inter-faculty research centre at the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences with about 70 employees.

The community version has been in successful use within my working group for many years. The main features in use are the calendar and address function and the knowledge database. The use is intuitive and the system is well accepted by all employees.

Due to our strong growth in the last few years, we decided to use external EPL hosting. This frees up time resources that we urgently need elsewhere.

The transfer of data went smoothly. In a few places we needed support, which came promptly and without complications.

Prof. Dr. Matthias Rädle – Vice Head CeMOS

CeMOS Center for Mass Spectrometry and Optical Spectroscopy

CeMOS bundles the activities of the two research groups at Mannheim University of Applied Sciences with the third highest funding, which together with around 70 people are primarily active in the research areas of “Medical Biotechnology/Medical Engineering” and “Intelligent Sensor Technology”. With this interdisciplinary approach, the university is responding to the rapid technological development and increasing digitalisation in these industrial fields and research areas. CeMOS already conducts intensive research with academic and industrial partners (BMWi, BMBF, EU, MWK; average annual third-party funding income over the last five years: approx. 3 million euros) and actively transfers technology to industry.
