Program for user days 2018

The EGroupware user days (“EGroupware Anwendertage” in German language) offer the opportunity to learn about EGroupware trends, learn about new solutions, benefit from best practice examples and get to know each other.

The focus is on digitizing your business processes with EGroupware, exchanging and editing documents online with Collabora Online and Team Collaboration.

By popular request we will have two parallel tracks this year . So you can decide whether you want to focus on administrative or on consulting issues.

We are constantly updating this page and keeping you informed about the program. Details of workshops and topics will follow in the next few days.

Most of the programm will be in german language.

The conference fee of 179,00€ (plus VAT) includes the participation in all presentations and workshops on both days of the conference and the evening event on the first day.

Details:

The conference fee of 179,00€ (plus VAT) includes the participation in all lectures and workshops on both days of the conference and the evening event on the first day. 

In addition, the two lunches at the ‘Alte Börse Marzahn’ and the coffee breaks as well as the drinks during the user days (coffee, tea, juices and water) are included. Dinner together on the first day is served in the old canteen or in the beer garden, depending on the weather. The evening barbecue buffet is included in the price.

With the “Alte Börse Marzahn” we have found a great place for the EGroupware user days 2018. A large conference room and smaller rooms are available for EGroupware workshops.

For the physical well-being of the visitors is provided by a professional team in the kitchen. Lunch, coffee breaks and drinks are included in the price for both days. Fresh fruit, coffee, tea and cold drinks are available for both days.

We invite you to our joint evening event on the first day.

The “beer garden” of “Alte Börse Marzahn” offers a wonderful opportunity for a barbecue buffet and networking in fine weather.

Interact directly with the software developers or get in touch with other companies to find out how you use EGroupware and what your experiences are. In this way you can benefit from the exchange of experiences.

In case of bad weather we can move the meal  to the old canteen.

Impressions of the user days 2017 and many thanks to all participants last year!

EGroupware 17.1 –  perspective on the new version

Lecture by Birgit Becker, Managing Director of EGroupware GmbH

New features include the EGroupware login page, S/MIME encryption, new notifications, easier handling of duplicates in the address book and the ability to edit documents together.

In addition, Ralf Becker will talk about the improved spam and virus protection with SpamTitan in the opening lecture.

Encryption PGP vs. S/MIME: Workshop

What are the differences between PGP and S/MIME encryption methods? How do they work? Hadi Nategh and Ralf Becker explained the functional mechanisms of the protocols to the users. In the slides from the workshop you can read it in peace and quiet.
