SyncML supported devices

Most mobile phones should work out of the box. If your device isn't listed here, it does't mean that its not supported! Just try it and give us feetback, so that we could keep this site up to date.

PDA

Most PDAs require a 3rd party SyncML Client to work. Below is a list of PDA's and clients.

General Limitation of SyncML

Contacts

This will sync all contacts that you are the owner of in egroupware. There doesn't appeare to be any way to sync contacts under a catagory. So if you have shared contacts with other people using egroupware, there appeares to be no way to sync them. This is also a problem if an executive assesstent wants to add an contact, they would have to login as the executive to have it sync. The good news is that this limatation is know by at lest one developer and it seems to be in the works to fix it, though no word on how soon.

Notes

This will sync all egroupwere infolog notes. These will appeare as notes, but will not have the contact information with it, which means it out of contexts.
