Overview: eGW applications, sync protocols and groupware clients
SyncML allows you to syncronize your contacts, events and tasks to a offline client. Currently supported clients include different mobile phones, Palm and Windows Mobile based PDA's and Microsoft Outlook.
You can find more informations about the SyncML support at the following pages:
The most promising I found was the Outlook Integration project page. A bit on the development of some classes for (eGWSyncUtils)?, meant to help sync with Outlook.
An active project called for syncing with Outlook know as eGWOSync and is currently maintained by Esben Laursen. Check it out and I know he would be interested in any and all feedback.
A description about what the plan was to be for (syncing to Outlook)?, not much interesting here.
A pretty overview of what clients should or could provide synchronisation for Outlook. Includes links to download the clients.
