This page documents the decisions of the administrator team and votes, according to the constitution.

All decisions have, for easier reference, an id consisting of the year, a dash and a incrementing number.
They also contain the names of the admins, explicitly approved the decision (RB: Ralf Becker, MS: Miles Lott, PS: Pim Snel).

2010-4: RB: removed Miles Lott on his own wish from sf.net and list of project members

2010-3: RB: Added Andreas Stöckel as new Medior project member (svn access) with Ralf Becker and Klaus Leithoff as Mentor

2010-2: RB: Changed Status of Jörg Lehrke and Stefan Becker to Senior Project Members

2010-1: RB: Added Hans-Jürgen Tappe as new Medior project members (svn access) with Ralf Becker and Klaus Leithoff as Mentor

2009-2: RB: removed Pim Snel on his own wish from sf.net and list of project members

Including his empoyees Rob van Kraanen and Ralph van de Mosselaer.

2009-1: RB: Added Philip Herbert and Jörg Lehrke as new Medior project members (svn access) with Ralf Becker as Mentor

2007-4: RB+ML: Added Stefan Becker as new Medior project member (svn access) with Ralf Becker as Mentor

Also created and agreed on the official project member list (incl. member status and function) here in the wiki.

2007-3: RB+ML: All but admin members of the Sourceforge eGroupWare project have been removed.

The list is outdated and no longer reflects or has any impact on project membership.

2007-2: RB+PS+ML: Tine has been removed from the project

2007-1: RB+PS+ML: Tine experimental part of eGroupWare, Tine devels get svn access, but no full project membership

Announced per mail on the core and other lists at 2007/12/18.

2005-11: RB+PS+ML: new project members Vincent Cuirassier from Mandriva replacing Benjamin Gigon

Announced per mail on the core list at 2005/10/10. Ralf Becker acts as his tutor.

2005-10: RB+PS+ML: new project members Lukas Weiss and new app resources

Announced per mail on the core list at 2005/09/19. Cornelius Weiss is accepted now as a full project member and acting as tutor for Lukas Weiss.

2005-9: RB+PS+ML: membership dissmission of Reiner Jung and Andreas Krause

Announced per mail on the core list at 2005/09/14, reasons given:
1. Mr. Krause is acting actively against the project by insisting upon representing the project without permission of he the board of administrators and without notification.
2. Mr. Krause is threatening to take legal action against the project.
3. Mr. Jung is supporting the actions and treats of Mr. Kraus mentioned in point 1. and 2.
4. Mr. Jung is behaving rudely to certain people on the project's german mailinglist. In the past we have asked him a couple of times to stop flaming on our lists.
5. Neither Mr. Jung nor Mr. Krause have shown to be actively contributing to the project since April. This alone is not a reason to dismiss someone's membership, but it does strengthen the above reasons.

2005-8: RB+PS+ML: new project members Cornelius Weiss, Raphael Derosso Pereira, Vinicius Cubas Brand

They will get commit rights imediatly, the mentors (Ralf Becker for Cornelius and Frank Alcantara for Raphael and Vinicius) have to review the commitments and decide how long this will be still necessary.

2005-7: RB+PS+ML: removing Reiner Jung as offical eGW and sponsored development contact

Until contacts and the sponsored development is finaly settled, we only publish info AT egroupware DOT org which is routed to the privat list, to which every developer has access. We ask everyone answering to this kind of mails, to CC the privat list or info@egroupware.org.

2005-6: admin-elections: Ralf Becker, Pim Snel, Miles Lott

According to Peter Eisentraut: Ralf Becker (13), Pim Snel (9), Miles Lott (9), Lars Kneschke (8), Frank Alcantara (7), Finjon Kiang (3), Reiner Jung (2), Zhang Weiwu (0).

2005-5: RB+LK: on request from Mr. Jung removed "Install & security HowTo"

Mr. Jung requested the immediate removal of "his" Install & Security HowTo from our download pages. Plus the removal of some example scripts he hosted on egroupware.org. According to Mr. Jung, these scripts should have a license which disallows usage without prior permission from Mr. Jung, which he no longer grants. Independent on the real legal situation I'm now removing the concerned material from sf.net and egroupware.org. We can re-add it, after checking the legal situation and if we think it's necessary for the project.

2005-4: vote: the new constitution is set into force by the project members

According to Pim Snel: 14 votes for the constitution, 8 votes for the alternative draft, 4 votes to late or not from project members.

2005-3: RB+LK: egroupware-core mailinglist and describtion changes in the other lists

Following the suggestions from some developers, a new (public) list in which only project members can post, have been created. The description of the following lists have been changed:
egroupware-developers: questions about development, NOT meant for support, PLEASE use the users-list
egroupware-privat: security related discussions and target for info@ and security@egroupware.org
egroupware-users: general support list: installation and usage questions for all eGroupWare users
All the changes are made to facilitate the comunicaton within the project.

2005-2: RB+LK: reinstalling Frank Alcantara as a member of the project

As the removal was not decided and Frank still wishes to participate.

2005-1: RB+LK: removal of Reiner Jung's admin rights

The admin rights of Reiner Jung have been removed, as he removed Frank Alcantara as project member without consulting the other admins and/or the project members. He's still a member of the eGroupWare project and welcome to participate as a regular developer/contributor, if he wishes so. We acknowledge expressly Reiner Jung valuable contributions to the eGroupWare project of in the past.
