A guy passing by on IRC just wanted to let us know the Open Source Lab at Oregan State University uses eGroupWare. May nice to have a couple of impressive case stories on the website.

WIPNET Telecom Ltda. (wip.mega.net.br )
is a small private brazilian company which provides Wireless Internet Access and Data Point-to-Point Links to their customers. Seeking a solution for their communication problems not only internal but also with customers the company decided to give eGroupware a try. Today all clients are having an account using the webmail and some other applications. They are exclusively attended by the TTS. Wipnet had in short time an important impact in reducing time-to-solution for all customers. Staff colaboration also got extremly improved by having access to the groupware from any location. Field Technicians did not need to come back to get new instructions and could almost triple their capacity not speaking about the lower telephone and travel costs. At the same time paper disappeared almost in the company.

FH Trier, Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld (www.umwelt-campus.de)
is a university of applied sciences with about 2000 students. Together with staff and external accounts, there are about 3000 People using FeLaMiMail, Calendar and Addressbook. Few people also use InfoLog and Resources.

This is a good idea. I have planed for the new egw.org page a referenz list and some success stories. You have the email from the guy which give you the information? They must send us some information and agree that we make it public on our page.

We have maybe a better success stiry. One user from Sweden setup eGW at the moment for 3000+ users
