A lot of options makes a system powerfull but also hard to configure. As eGroupWare has come from a long road and some things have developed in such way that options get inrelevant.

On this page I propose to drop or move some options from the configuration / setup / and preferences to make eGroupWare more easy to confgure and logical to use.

When options are removed from the system its important to not only remove the option switch of input field but also the internal code so it can't give any strange problems in the future for example with installations that are upgraded all the time.

General preferences

• Show navigation bar as (text and icons/only text/only icons) This is a template-set specific option. E.g. linux-at-work and idsociety will never use this setting. I propose we move this option to the new dedicated template-set-preferences.

Site Configuration

• Enter the background color for the site title:
