Import | Export definitions
EGroupware has a set of default Import | Export definitions, which can be modified or new definitions can be added to meet your needs. Import and export information on-click or scheduled.
Scheduled Import | Export
Import | Exports can be scheduled to run automatically.
- You may want to import data from other databases regularly, for instance updating EGroupware with information of pre-located ERP systems.
- You may want to update other data targets on regular basis to keep them in sync with EGroupware.
Access rights for Import | Export
- Import | Export application must be granted to users/groups. (Admin → User groups)
- Administrators can define whether the users are allowed to create their own definitions and which users are allowed to share their own definitions. (Admin → Import | Export → Site configuration)
- User/group rights are set separately in each Import | Export definition.
